The Waterfront Garage & The Walter Rand Garage The Waterfront Garage and the Walter Rand Transportation Terminal Garage are multi-level parking structures operated by the PACC. Tweeter Center Lots 1 and 2 are located directly across the street from the Tweeter Center and may be accessed from Mickle Blvd. Their primary use is for the South Jersey Performing Arts Center and VIP Tweeter Center concert parking. Court Parking Lot 3 is located at 3rd Street and Mickle Blvd. Motorists planning a visit to the Hall of Justice, the Jail, or an enriching tour of the historical Walt Whitman House, may park here daily for a $7 fee. This Lot is also made available for the use of commuters working in the City who opt for the convenient monthly parking plan. Lot 7 is located at the end of Cooper Street on Delaware Avenue and is provided for the exclusive use of Camden City Board of Education employees for a monthly fee and for Rutgers University staff and students. Lot 8 is directly adjacent to the Jail and is for the express use of the Jail staffers. Lot 9 is located on Mickle Blvd. across the street from the Jail. For a nominal daily fee of $7, motorists may park and be afforded the best possible access to the Hall of Justice and the Jail. Lot 12 is located at Haddon and Market Streets. This Lot is reserved for the express use of the Camden County Board of Social Services employees. The PACC Waterfront Garage located at 10 Delaware Avenue offers convenient parking at reasonable rates for all of your daily excursions. However, if you’re motoring a vehicle with a clearance of over 6’, Lot 3 at 3rd Street can accommodate you. The Walter Rand Transportation Terminal located at Broadway and Mickle Blvd. provides monthly parking for our City’s burgeoning business district. Although usually filled to capacity, some daily spaces are available on a first-come first-serve basis. So if you’re planning a shopping spree, or a quick sprint over to Philadelphia by bus or train, the Garage is open as early as 7:00 AM and the daily fee is $7. Handicap parking is available near the elevators on each level of both Garages. On-street Metered Parking is your best bet if you’re looking for a quick stop for just the price of pocket change. On-street and handicap metered parking is available throughout the City. All meters in the Rutgers University area will accept a Smart Card or coins. Cards may be purchased at the Rutgers Book Store or at the PACC Customer Service Center. Juror Parking is one of life’s
necessities. Every licensed driver and registered voter is drafted to
perform his or her civic duty as least once. But in the midst of the fray to
reschedule your day, with your Juror notice in hand and a well worked out
plan, take particular note so that you won’t have to mope. Jury Management
provides parking instructions so that you may avoid the annoying
interruption of being ticketed and/or towed away. The Residential Parking Program (RPP) was initiated to preserve the parking privileges of Camden residents and their visitors during business hours. The program has established three zones restricting non-metered parking to one hour without a valid permit. Participating residents of each parking zone receive color-coded permits, stickers, and temporary visitor parking permits. Residential parking restrictions are in effect weekdays between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Any vehicle found parked in excess of one hour in any of these restricted areas without a valid and properly displayed permit is subject to citation and immediate towing. The Parking Enforcement Division (PED) of the Parking Authority works to ensure that all vehicles parked on the streets of Camden are in compliance with all parking ordinances. To this end, PED regularly patrols metered streets, Parking Authority lots, city sweeper routes, and Residential Parking zones.
