Our Mission since being created over 50 years ago is ongoing coordination with the Mayor and Members of City Council, toward the provision and improvement of parking throughout the City of Camden.

In keeping with our mission, the Parking Authority continues to look toward the parking needs and interests of the Camden community.  Our facilities and services enhance commerce throughout the City.  Our various programs, Residential Parking Program, Credit Card Payment System, and the Overnight Parking Program (available only at the Waterfront Garage and the Transportation Terminal), help to protect the parking privileges of all.  The foundation of the Authority’s Handicap Parking Program is the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Ensuring compliance with this Act also falls within the Authority’s scope.  Wherever, the need, we endeavor to meet the need with safe, convenient, and affordable parking.  Our goal is that everyone’s motoring be pleasurable!
